AP2125K-3.3TRG1 is a 300mA, positive voltage regulator IC fabricated by the CMOS process. This IC is equipped with a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a resistor network for setting output voltage, a chip enable circuit, a current limit circuit and an OTSD (over temperature shut down) circuit to prevent the IC from over current and over temperature. It features of high ripple rejection, low dropout voltage, low noise, high output voltage accuracy and low current consumption which make them ideal for use in various battery powered apparatus. Applications include CDMA/GSM cellular handsets, battery-powered equipment, laptops, palmtops, notebook computers, hand-held instruments, PCMCIA cards, and portable information appliances.

• Compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitor, excellent line/load regulation
• Load regulation is 6mV typical at (VIN = 2.8V, 1mA ≤ IOUT ≤ 300mA)
• Line regulation is 1mV typical at (2.8V ≤ VIN ≤ 6V, IOUT = 30mA)
• Dropout voltage is 10mV typical at (OUT = 10mA, VIN = 2.8V, TA = +25°C)
• Quiescent current is 60µA typical at (VIN = 2.8V, IOUT = 0mA)
• Standby current is 1µA maximum at (VIN = 2.8V, VCE in OFF mode)
• Power supply rejection ratio is 70dB typical at (ripple 0.5Vp-p, VIN = 2.8V, f = 100Hz)
• RMS output noise is 50µVrms typical at (10Hz ≤ f ≤ 100KHz)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
